This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by spacetimeapps.com and its subdomains, sites published on spacetimesites.com, and visual.is. Visualis and visual.is are provided by Visualis Technology G.P., based in Quebec City, and operated by Space Time Apps; they set the same cookies described here. For how we handle personal information in general, see our Privacy Policy.

We do not use tracking cookies

We do not use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies. All the cookies we set are needed to sign you in, keep your account secure or remember a choice you made. Because of that, we do not ask for cookie consent.

Cookies we set

• Session (_spacetime_session): keeps you signed in across our apps and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. It is deleted when you sign out or close your browser, depending on your browser's settings.
• Remember me: keeps you signed in between visits, if you tick "Remember me" when you sign in.
• Returning user and sign-in method: remembers that this browser has signed in before, and whether you used a password or a passkey, so that the sign-in page shows the right option. These last until you clear them.

Other browser storage

The editor saves copies of unsaved changes, and some display preferences, in your browser's local storage. This lets you recover your work after a crash. This storage stays on your device; it is not used to track you.

Third-party cookies

• Stripe loads on billing and account pages to take payments securely, and may set cookies for fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy.
• Google may set cookies when you choose to import from Google Sheets or Drive, as part of Google's sign-in and file picker. Some of our pages also load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address but sets no cookies. See Google's cookie policy.
• Embedded content. Public visualizations and sites can embed content from other websites, such as videos or maps. Those websites may set their own cookies, including tracking cookies, which we do not control. We encourage creators not to embed trackers. You can block third-party cookies in your browser.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block our own cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
